There's more to the world-famous star of NBC's hit series Friends than you think - the star of TV advertisements for Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Coco Cola and Doritos! At the age of eight Matt LeBlanc received his first motor-cycle. His childhood ambition was to be a professional racer and he often entered into competitions. One problem with this choice of career was his mother - she forced him to find a safer outlet for his talents. LeBlanc trained for a career in carpentry, but as we know he ended up acting. The thing that many people recall first when thinking of LeBlanc before the days of Friends is his spot in a Heinz ketchup advert. For his role in that he won himself the prestigious Gold Lion Award at Cannes. Other products he was in commercials for were Levi's, Coca-cola, and Dorito's. LeBlanc moved to Los Angeles in 1988. His movie career was slow with things like "Anything to Survive" but recenty he landed the star role in "Lost in Space". LeBlanc's other passion is photography which has forced him to travel to Amsterdam, Switzerland, Germany, and Vancouver in search of nice landscapes. He still resides in Los Angeles.
