Matthew Paige Damon was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA on October 8th, 1970. He was at Harvard until he decided to concentrate full time on acting and writing. He is best known as the star of Good Will Hunting. His middle name is Paige, and although he attended Harvard for two years, he dropped out 12 credits short of a BA in English to pursue a career in acting. His first job was a TK Maxx commercial in New York. He's won several awards, a Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting, and was nominated in the Blockbuster movie awards for Best Actor in a Drama for Good Will Hunting. 1.
